Healing Won’t Leave You Perfectly Whole, But It Will Leave You With A Stronger Heart — Thought Catalog

viktoriaalisevichHealing is not meant to be an eraser. It it not meant to take all of the pain away. It is not going to be a permanent sharpie to mark over your wounds. It is not going to cover up everything. Because in order to heal, you need to remember the good parts. Healing doesn’t happen…

CPD for Philippine Librarians

Its out the revised guidelines for CPD continuing professional development  for Librarians and other professional staff has been signed. Professional librarians who will renew their licenses must comply with the requirements of PRC of earning units for CPD through accredited institutions. Its time to gather certificates of training and seminars before going to PRC to renew licence. My question is how your gonna present all these documents if you are renewing through PRC service center like SM Malls?

Please click the link below for full details of CPD.

Doha landmarks

Just want to share some photos I took using Samsung S4. I must admit the camera of this mobile phone is amazing.

View outside MIA Cafe

One of the must see places in Doha is their Museum of Islamic Art which is located along Corniche. At the backside of the Museum you will find MIA park as they call it where you can have picnic with your friends or families. The kids would definitely enjoy in the big playground with bunjee area, swings and slides, they also have bikes for rent(not sure with the fee because i dont know how to ride a bike) For those who just want to chill and hangout with friends they have a Coffee Shop located at the far end of the park – MIA Cafe with a perfect view of the corniche and Doha’s central business district.

Another reason for Qataris to celebrate

Read Share Celebrate

In celebration of the book month we have lined up some activities for our community residents. My first aim was to promote books and the library to the little ones in the community so we organized a design your own book cover and bookmarks arts and crafts activity. Kids bring their own book or notebooks and reveal their artistic skills by designing it using old magazines, fabric tape (washi tape), ribbons and stickers.

It is a joyous feeling to hear the kids enjoyed the design your own book activity, some of them requesting to do it again so they can create more “new books” and design their own bookmarks that they can give to their friends in school.

It was a good breather for the young ones to do something educational without the pressure of being graded or judged on their work.

I am thankful that we were able to share the magic that happens in the library and celebrate the love for books and reading
